A woman’s Wild Self is hidden from sight, forced into exile by Patriarchal Culture. The loss of our innate instinct and creative life is not by accident…remembrance and reclamation is a conscious life path. Walking with us on this path is an Inner Figure, and Archetypal Energy, a wild force of nature moving through our collective.

She is the untamed, fully alive and activated aspect of a woman’s creative nature and she is no longer being pushed into hiding. Awakening to her power changes lives. I have worked with over 250 women supporting them to find, feel and free their most authentic expression through embodiment photography. This all began through my own embodied relationship to the Archetypal Wild Feminine.
Creatura is a 2-day group ceremony to meet our wild feminine alongside other women. We will create powerful imagery together, experience a fire walking ceremony, heal our nervous systems, sing with the wildflowers, and strip naked in wild abandon as we embrace our wild, creative natures.

Held in nature at Skatitude Eco-Retreat, this is an eco-somatic ritual experience — part fire walking ceremony, part photographic art-making, part deep soul nourishment connecting to women and the land.

We will be stepping outside ordinary time together to commune with the primal feminine force that lives beneath our roles, our personas, and the masks patriarchal culture has asked us to wear.
This is not a photoshoot. It is a doorway into the realm of the wild feminine. Through embodiment practice, nature connection, and the power of being truly seen, you will meet your Creatura — the archetypal wild woman who has been waiting in exile, carrying the full breadth of your aliveness and medicine.
Individual and group portraits emerge from this liminal space of communion with the archetypal wild feminine. You do not need to be comfortable in front of a camera. In fact, if you're not, this space is for you.
Firewalk Ceremony with Maeyoka Brightheart
This is rite of elemental magic and passage to embody our primal feminine power, heal our lineages and feed the vision for a world where all life can thrive. The fire receives and transforms our heaviest burdens and deepest prayers into raw Life Force. When we dance together through burning coals we become stronger and brighter. Fortified to face this time of reckoning we are living through and birth a new story for the world. Power born of fire cannot be burned.

About the Land
Skalitude Retreat is a rare place of beauty and refuge. A valley within a valley, nestled into the curvaceous hills of the traditional lands of the mətxʷú (Methow) people, who named themselves for the Arrowleaf Balsam that blooms the springtime hills golden.
A 160 pollinator sanctuary and community surrounded by Okanogan National Forest in the Methow Valley of Washington State. This land holds a magic that evokes reverence and inspires deep connection. By day, she sings in bird song and bee hum, by night the chorus is taken up by owls and wolves. The central gathering place is a wildflower meadow, bordered by aspen grove and pine forest.
