A CREATURA
is a woman’s interior wildish self that few get to see-including herself. The loss of instinct and a creative life is a result of our disconnection from Her.
It is the untamed aspect of a woman’s nature that has been desecrated and labeled as ‘too much’, ‘inappropriate’ and otherwise threatening to the status quo.
To thrive as women, we need to create doorways for her to enter.
Love, I won’t sugar coat it…
The life you most desire is waiting to be claimed on the other side of the fear of your wildness. There is no alt. route. There is only this one precious life to be lived, not survived!
When we walk ourselves home to our innate wildness as women, we thrive as women, we need only create a doorway for Her to enter.
Our body is the doorway.
Our expression is the invitation for her to enter.
Creatura, as an archetypal feminine force, is ever-present, but we need to step away from our mind and into another reality in order to engage her and her medicine. This is an invitation to participate in her sympathetic magic in service to your creative nature, authentic expression, and embodied power.
Tending your inner Creatura through naked nature portraits during winter with other women might be a big edge.

Embracing the cold brings a level of somatic aliveness that is profoundly nourishing to our nervous system—meeting this edge is vulnerable, but so powerful!
Exposing your body to the earth while fully expressing yourself is a powerful ceremony! The art created is mythic, powerful and raw. This is a ceremonial portal into the depth, vulnerability and resilience we are asked to really commit to in our expression and embodiment as women.
Deep cultural repair takes place when we create art together in these ways.
CREATURA
is a Creative Rite to awaken your inner Wild Woman through embodied artistry.
What to Expect
We will gather in pursuit of our wild, instinctual nature.
We will meet the wet, the cold, the fertile and the feral (as well as the fire). Our time will be largely on the land but we will have a cozy indoor space as well.
You are responsible for your own transportation and snacks and any offerings to the fire. A lunch will be provided. Sacred objects are also welcome. A more detailed preparation guide will be sent upon registration.
During our time together, we will explore our relationship to our wild, creative nature through embodiment, writing, and mirror work (in doors).
We will then venture out onto the land to commune with our Creatura and make art together.
You will have individual portraits and we will also do a group creative ceremony. You do not need to be comfortable in front of the camera- in fact, if you feel that you are not, then this space is for you.

Portrait photography has always been about creating a doorway for the Archetypal Wild Woman to enter my life.
I first started creating self-portraits, which I now refer to as Wild Images in 2017. I honestly believe that this creative practice feel saved my life.
I have developed a unique approach to photography over the years, working with now over 200 women.
As an animist artist, storyteller, and embodiment guide, I create photography experiences in which women are able to drop the masks, express themselves honestly and authentically, and meet and transform their edges around being seen.
We are here to birth our deepest images.
The art that we co-create is not just personally meaningful, but also symbolic, mythic and connected to a much deeper imaginal, archetypal realm.
